Martine began her career in the field of movement and bodies as a Pilates Instructor in 1999. Soon after her original Pilates certification, Martine pursued numerous other certification including: GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®, Yamuna Body Rolling, Advanced Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy from the Seattle Psychoanalytical Society & Institute and has attended numerous workshops in Advanced Myofascial Techniques and anatomy. Adena’s love for movement is closely tied to a passion for music. While studying opera, she turned to Pilates to improve posture and body awareness. She was hooked by the precision and accessibility of Pilates. Adena completed instructor training with Body Arts and Science International in 2003 and has been teaching and learning ever since. She’s worked in a variety of settings, from coast to coast. Adena’s clients describe her teaching as “masterful” and “challenging” and appreciate her ability to meet them where they are on any given day.

Andrea is interested in working collaboratively with clients to help them decompress their body and enliven their system! This means that each session is highly personalized to facilitate small changes over time so you can see and feel big results in the long-term. In GYROTONIC® & GYROKINESIS® exercise this is achieved through various exercises which simultaneously challenge the body muscularly, energetically and rhythmically. The goals include strong core muscles, ease of movement and an efficient body. Andrea also has a private practice seeing SPRe® clients at Studio Evolve.
Celeste grew up in Hawaii where swimming, surfing and marathon running was a part of her everyday life. After being spoiled by this active playground, she kept up her fit lifestyle by incorporating her favorite balance and endurance sports into Pilates movements. She initially started doing Pilates in 2001 to improve her posture and flexibility for running. Pilates, more than anything else, has completely transformed her body and body awareness, increasing her strength and endurance as well as preventing injuries.
When teaching, she focuses on deep endurance core strength, alignment, balance, and coordination. Her exercises are precise, making them “cheat proof” and are designed for head to toe strengthening and toning. For extreme athletes its a great way to add that extra edge to your routine by keeping your muscles guessing and inspired. If your looking to reconnect, realign, and relieve lower back issues, Pilates builds supportive muscles in your core and around the joints giving you a lifted structure and pain free movements. Celeste is also trained to work with prenatal, postnatal, specific injuries and conditions. Teaching now since 2007, as a Senior STOTT Pilates instructor, she wants to keep you doing what you love for a very long time.
Annie is a recently relocated NYC Pilates instructor and author of Pilates and wellness blog, Three Red Springs. After graduating with a degree in dance, she danced professionally in California, New York, Montana, and Buenos Aires, Argentina. Always fascinated with movement and wellness, she pursued a full apparatus certification from Physical Mind Institute in NYC with her emphasis in pre- and postnatal Pilates from Kinected and has been teaching dance and Pilates since 2003. Annie desires to see people pushing to their personal best, working past personal barriers and ultimately thriving in a fit, intentional, healthy lifestyle. A native from Montana, Annie loves beaches in Southern Thailand, Vermont in the fall, has some mean skills in the kitchen, and loves exploring new coffee shops with her husband.
Lynn is in her 70’s, and came to exercise and movement later in her life. Happily she found the GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM®. She took classes for 3 years, and found it so beneficial and enjoyable that she decided to become a certified instructor. She especially enjoys working with older clients, like herself. The GYROTONIC EXPANSION SYSTEM® is well suited for an older client; with it’s no-impact, spiraling movement and core strengthening, it creates strength and balance throughout the body. If you are interested in an exploration that leads to finding strength and balance in your life, she would be delighted to work with you to create your own individualized movement and exercise plan. She also has a private SPRe® practice at Studio Evolve.
Lillian, born and raised in Los Angeles, started her Pilates journey in 2001. She began as a client who wanted to work on her flexibility. When she found out what Pilates could do (and did) for her body, she fell in love with it. Not only did she gain flexibility, she gained strength, learned body awareness and released tension from her neck and shoulders that were the result of her desk job. Lillian has been teaching Pilates since 2009 and has worked with a variety of clients from beginner to advanced, pre-natal and post-natal, as well as those with MS, Fibromyalgia and back and joint issues.
When she is not at the studio or working out herself, you can find her out on the trails, either hiking or doing volunteer trail work. She also enjoys kayaking, yoga, weightlifting, cooking and traveling.

Victoria believes that each of us can get to know our own body’s language in a way that makes life richer and more enjoyable. She loves to teach movement in a way that helps you to make more sense to yourself. Her teaching combines functional, structural anatomy with a deep curiosity about who each person is as an individual. She loves to work with clients who want to better understand themselves as they inhabit their bodies.
Victoria explores fluid functional structure in the lineage of Aileen Passloff (Judson Dance Theater) and Jill Ableson (SPRe® Bodywork). Her background includes extensive training in contact improvisation, flamenco and contemporary dance technique and she holds a BA in Writing/Dance from Bard College, NY. Dina holds a BFA in Dance from The Juilliard School and an MFA in dance performance/choreograhy. Dina has been dancing, teaching and choreographing for over twenty years and was the co-founder/artistic director of LEAVING GROUND/DANCE, a contemporary dance company. She came to train intensively in Pilates following a knee injury in 2001. A year later, Dina completed the STOTT Instructor training program. She enjoys partnering with clients in their process of finding health, fitness and wellness. In her free time, Dina enjoys travel, yoga, biking, hiking and snowshoeing.
Ellen is a life-time Pilates practitioner, taking her first class over 15 years ago as part of a classical dance program. After leaving the dance world to pursue a desk job fighting hackers, Pilates stayed part of Ellen’s daily routine; a necessary way to fend off her terrible office induced posture.
Ellen’s passion for the Pilates Method and the community a studio provides encouraged her to become an instructor. Ellen completed her training through the Balance Body Comprehensive Program, but is inspired by all interpretations of the Pilates Method from the Masters (Romana, Kathy and Joe himself!) to contemporary, athletic and therapeutic uses of the exercise repertoire. Ellen enjoys working with all clients whether athletic, injured or stuck in an office like her all day!
Outside of the studio and the office, Ellen can be found exploring the PNW on a hike or in a kayak. She is always up for an adventure and can often be spotted in a coffee shopt planning her next international excursion!
Nicole is most inspired by the way Pilates develops and deepens the connection between our minds and our bodies. She has always loved to exercise and challenge her body, but it took surviving breast cancer to shift her focus from working hard to working smart and taking care of her body in the process. She works with her clients to change ingrained movement patterns by tapping into all of their senses. She believes Pilates has the ability to allow our bodies to work smarter and more efficiently, ultimately enabling us to enjoy all the activities we love for years to come.
Nicole believes every body can benefit from Pilates. She enjoys tailoring challenging sessions for her clients based on their particular movement history. She has worked with people recovering from knee, hip, ankle and shoulder injuries as well as spinal issues and back pain. She likes finding a balance between healing and strengthening for the best possible outcome. Her favorite part of teaching is helping her clients discover and feel a difference in their bodies that carries over into their everyday lives. Her specialty is getting the brain on board so that the work she does with her clients in the studio results in both a mental and physical shift leading to an overall improved quality of life.
She is certified as a Vitality Pilates Instructor; Pilates for MS Advanced Training; training in Brain-based Education for Movement Professional and volunteers weekly at Swedish Hospital teaching MS patients and patients with neurological disorders. Her personal interest include hiking, mountaineering, biking, snowboarding, camping, dogs and books.
Known for the sense of fun she brings to Pilates, Joanna helps her clients reach their goals in a playful atmosphere. She enjoys tailoring her sessions to suit any circumstance – preventing or healing injuries, enhancing flexibility or achieving greater body awareness. Joanna became interested in Pilates when pursuing relief from her own back and neck pain. Joanna received her Pilates certification from Mind and Body, Inc. in 2004 and two years later added Yamuna Body Rolling to her repertoire.
After growing up in Buffalo, New York and attending Muskingum College in Ohio, Joanna moved to Seattle where she has made her home.
Suzanne trained with Columbia Dance Ensemble, Oregon Ballet Theatre School and Alvin Ailey American Dance Center, where she received a Certificate of Dance. She performed professionally with dance ensembles in Oregon, New York and South Africa. Her teaching credits include faculty positions at Connecticut Dance Theatre, School at Steps and Ballet Hispanico and currently teaches ballet and Pilates at Pacific Northwest Ballet. For many years, Pilates has been an integral part of Suzanne’s training and helped her recover from a back injury in 2003. She became inspired to become a Pilates instructor and completed her training through STOTT Pilates in Seattle. Suzanne is passionate in helping clients reach their goals and discover dramatic results through Pilates.
For many years Pilates has not only been an integral part of Suzanne’s dance training, but has helped her through two recent pregnancies and births. The dramatic changes she has received excites her to share her knowledge with clients helping them to feel great and reach their goals.
