Sophia, a former Studio Evolve Pilates instructor, reports she is happy and doing well in her new home in New Zealand. She is celebrating this latest chapter in her life by participating in a 100-mile run to help raise money for Aukland Women’s Refuge, an organization that supports survivors of domestic abuse.
She will be running on New Zealand’s beautiful Hillary Track on the 4th of July. “Because emotional abuse leaves no visible cuts or bruises, it can be much harder for victims to recognize it as such and seek help. The decision to stand up for myself and leave an abusive relationship was one of the scariest and best decisions on my life,” Sophia explains.
Sophia sends hugs and well wishes to her many Studio Evolve friends. You can read the full press release here.
